2nd Annual Plant Sale

Unity of Columbia is having a Plant Sale May 18 and 19 at 1600 W. Broadway in Columbia. There will be all kinds of plants (indoor plants, annuals, perennials, fruit, vegetables, succulents, herbs, and bulbs) and gardening-related items (books, tools, pots, gifts, etc). Everyone is welcome.
Volunteers! There are many ways Unity members can support this fundraiser in advance of the event:

For those with green thumbs, please consider starting plants from seed, taking cuttings and rooting them, dividing perennials and repotting for sale. All plants will need to be labelled. Let your family and friends know about the sale in advance – they can donate plants.

We need surplus plant pots, planters, etc. These can be left by the Unity garden shed.

From April onwards, team members are willing to pot cuttings or divided plants, and dig out and take away small quantities of perennials from your yard.

Plants for sale will not be accepted until Friday May 17.

We are collecting garden-related items now. Please give them to a member of the team on Sundays or to the office Monday through Thursday.
Let us know if you are willing to volunteer on the team April onwards to help with publicity, preparing plants for sale, and/or during May 17-19 for set up, helping with the sale and clean up. Contact Sheryl Bassford for more information 573-819-2256, bassfordsheryl@gmail.com.

Prayer and Healing Circle

Prayer Chapel
A weekly prayer circle led by our Ministers, Licensed Unity Teachers, and Silent Unity Leaders. A time to check in with others with shared prayer, reflective readings, affirmative healing, and a short meditation. No need to register. Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the session.
Transmission Meditation
Wednesdays, 5:00pm
Unity House Living Room
No meditation experience necessary, just an open heart and mind, a desire to serve and to deepen your meditation experience. If attending for the first time, please arrive at least 15 minutes early for some instructions. Gentle Healing Yoga

Unity House Living Room
An easy yoga class for anyone–including those experiencing pain, stress, depression, or anxiety. It is also great for seniors and anyone wanting to loosen up and be more flexible. Stretch…don’t strain, is the motto. Plus, you will experience positivity and love for yourself and body.
Journey of Infinite Consciousness

Join us for the 2023-2024 Thursday Evening Zoom “think-tank” meeting. The meetings focus on understanding consciousness and how it relates to who we are, what our purpose is, and how Infinite Consciousness–which manifested our Individual Consciousness–can create a vision of reality that can improve our life and positively impact our world for the better.
